I happened across filming for the TV series Endeavour next to the Radcliffe Camera, Oxford. I took a few photos of the main stars Shaun Evans (Morse) and Roger Allam (Fred Thursday) and later couldn't resist painting their portraits.
A lovely commission from a lovely family, with Knole House painted 'en plein air'. There are some paintings where the paint just falls off the brush effortlessly; this was such a one.........even the dog behaved perfectly.
